Christos Sourligas is an award-winning and bestselling author, award-winning filmmaker, actor, innovator and disruptor. His debut feature ELEPHANT SHOES was the darling of the film festival circuit, winning awards and selling out screenings across the world. His second feature film HAPPY SLAPPING was the world’s first feature shot entirely on smartphones. Christos’ short film PARK EX. was awarded the Canadian Multicultural Award by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. He produced the documentary DOCKSIDE TO BEDSIDE: 100 YEARS OF HERZL about Canada’s first free family medical clinic which premiered on CityTV. He produced and directed the lifestyle series GEEK ME! for Bell Media and MONTREALERS for Videotron. Christos recently co-authored a #1 bestselling cookbook with his mom based on her Greek food recipes and is distributed worldwide through publishing behemoth Simon & Schuster. He also stars in nationally-renown filmmaker Tony Asimakopoulos’ short film, MOONSHADOWS. 

In his previous career, Christos worked as a comedy television series distributor and producer. During his 12-year tenure as Vice President, Television Sales for the world-renowned comedy production company Just For Laughs, television properties entered the homes of over 1.5 billion television viewers worldwide, the shows airing in over 140 countries and on 100 airlines. What’s more, when JUST FOR LAUGHS GAGS was licensed to ABC (USA), it became the first made-for-Canada television series ever to be broadcast on a primetime US network. He also helped found ComedyPro, the most important annual global gathering of the biggest players in the comedy world. Following that, Christos went on to work for prestigious production companies such as QuebeComm, Encore Television, Dakota Pictures (Los Angeles), and Media Ranch.

For over 20 years, he’s been mentoring emerging and veteran filmmakers, storytellers and other creatives. Christos has also served as a volunteer with various awards events and festivals (International Emmy Awards, Banff World Television Festival Awards, ACTRA Awards, Yorkton Film Festival, Amerasia Film Festival, Professional Writers Association of Canada), and non-profit organizations (McGill University “Industry Insider Sessions”, Montreal Film Group, Youth Employment Services, French for the Future) in various roles including programming and promotion, as a board member, jury head and juror. As well, he’s an advisory committee member for Water For African Women; a Senegalese non-profit organization that enhances the economic development, dignity and quality of life for West African women and their families through solar-powered market gardens which grow harvests of food and related returns.

Stacie Morgain Lewis is an actress, singer, songwriter, teacher and mom. She played Glinda in the smash hit Chicago production of WICKED. Broadway: Pulitzer Prize and Tony Awards winning SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (Frieda/Betty), WICKED (stand by Glinda), URINETOWN (u/s Hope Cladwell), and TITANIC. Off-B’way: DON’T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB. National Tours: TITANIC, SOUTH PACIFIC (u/s Nellie). Greg has guest-starred on an Emmy award-winning episode of LAW & ORDER, co-starred on SIX FEET UNDER, and worked on the film LEVITY directed by Ed Solomon starring Billy Bob Thorton and Holly Hunter. He was the star of an Orange Mobile ad campaign directed by Martin Scorsese and lensed by Darius Kondji. He is a graduate and scholarship recipient of Circle in the Square Theatre School.

Luc Montpellier is an award winning Cinematographer whose work has entertained and engaged feature film audiences, festival cinephiles and television viewers alike for over 20 years. He is equally at home interpreting the perspective of avant-garde directors such as Guy Maddin for THE SADDEST MUSIC IN THE WORLD, auteur directors such as Sarah Polley and Clark Johnson as well as seeking a broad commercial audience for David Shore and Vince Gilligan.

Luc’s many film credits include Sarah Polley’s Academy Award® nominated directorial debut, AWAY FROM HER (Lionsgate) which premiered at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival, Ruba Nadda’s SABAH and CAIRO TIME, which won Best Canadian Feature at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, Paolo Barzman’s EMOTIONAL ARITHMETIC, for which Montpellier received a Cinematography nomination from the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, Asghar Massombagi’s 2001 FIPRESCI Award winner, KHALED, which also earned Montpellier the Haskell Wexler Award, and Emmanuel Shirinian’s IT WAS YOU CHARLIE, which was nominated for a 2015 Canadian Screen Award for Best Feature Film Cinematography.

His television credits include shows like DAMIAN for A&E, the science fiction thriller INCORPORATED for SyFy and and the premium cable series, COUNTERPART for MRC / Starz starring JK Simmons which was nominated for best TV Series Cinematography at the 2018 Canadian Society of Cinematographers Awards, the science fiction series TALES FROM THE LOOP for Amazon and the Netflix series TINY PRETTY THINGS.

Luc’s most recent features are PERCY VS. GOLIATH starring Christopher Walken, and Sarah Polley’s WOMEN TALKING starring Frances McDormand, Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, Rooney Mara, and Ben Whishaw.

Tim Rideout

TIM RIDEOUT
Music Composer

Acclaimed Canadian composer Tim Rideout composes, performs and produces music for film, television and motion pictures. He is a successful Hollywood-style orchestrator, artist-entrepreneur and true digital Renaissance man, owning and operating FibiiMedia, one of Montreal’s premiere audio and media production facilities.

His talents have afforded him many opportunities of artistic diversity, from playing at the Olympia Theatre in Paris, to winning a New Mexico Music Award and receiving multiple nominations for Quebec’s Gemini Awards (Gémeaux) including Best Original Music in a Television Documentary.

His most recent accomplishments include composing the music for the hit Quebec TV series L’ÉCHAPPÉE and M’ENTENDS-TU, and Québec/New-Brunswick co-productions À LA VALDRAGUE, LE CLAN and LE SIÈGE. His film credits include orchestrating the music for LA GUERRE DES TUQUES 3D (Snowtime), orchestration and music editing for CHASSE-GALERIE, and co-composing and orchestrating the music for the 11 time Jutra-nominated film LOUIS CYR: L’HOMME LE PLUS FORT DU MONDE. He has done work for Hollywood productions, including Troublemakers’ production of the music for HOLLYWOOD LIGHTS, playing nightly at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood California, and orchestrating composer Marc Bell’s score for the feature film BRICK MANSIONS (starring Paul Walker and RZA, written by Luc Besson).

The Fredericton, New Brunswick native’s moniker has also graced the credits of audio-visual productions from the likes of the Winter Olympics, CBC, Global TV, Alliance Atlantis, Geordie Productions, Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey Circus, the SciFi Channel’s Flash Gordon and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent by Ubisoft.

The classically-trained pianist and jazz drummer from McGill University has three CD releases to his credit and has collaborated on projects involving recording artists such as Marie-Mai, Groenland, Céline Dion, Jorane, Éloi Painchaud, Raphael Butler, Audrey Emery, Jipé Dalpé, Pascal Chaumont, VETCH, Denis Richard, Andrea Revel, Rob Lutes, Ember Swift, Paul Cargnello, Brasse Camarade, Offenbach’s John McGale, French accordion virtuoso NANO, and American blues trio The Gagan Bros.
